Late Christmas Outfit

funda

I wanted to post these photos earlier but I had to run to a family Christmas meeting, some of you may know how these things are.
Christmas has almost passed, but I still wanted to create a fantasy outfit for this occasion, now my fantasy came to life after I rediscovered this skirt I made a looong time ago. I know it looks kind of funny but hey..it's still puffy and flirty, and I am very pleased with these photos.
I hope you all had a magical Christmas filled with joy together with your loved ones! Can't believe 2013 is around the corner..

Santa's lost Christmas gift

gt

My Christmas break has finally begun, but before I go back in my hometown, I made a quick stop in Cluj, one of my favorite cities in this country. After a panic attack of almost losing a very early train and after long hours of travel, I have arrived tired and I slept and slept. I went yesterday for a walk, drank one delicious cup of hot chocolate with pudding texture (and whiskey cream flavor) and took photos of the brilliant decorations around the center of the city. I am only staying here a couple of days and I plan to enjoy them at best. Here I am wearing my DIY ribbon sweater I made almost a year ago (Goodness, time flies so fast!) and I felt very festive, in a joyful Christmas mood. I plan to make some goodies this holidays, let's just hope I find the necessary fabrics.

Just before New Year's Eve, the lovely girls from The Hearabouts posted a Do It Yourself project inspired by the Dior Fall collection and I find to be very simple to do and the result is so chic! Check it out, it's a cool way to accessorize your clothes.
I used this simple sweater and chose to put the ribbons on the sleeves and on the neckline, and I made bigger ribbons because...well, I like to exaggerate ^^
You should try it, it's fun! I am thinking of doing this to other sweaters as well.
