Project III - Metalic '50s

Alright darlings, I proudly present to you my final project of this semester made for my second year of Fashion School. I worked together with a colleague and friend of mine, we were supposed to make little teams, and this is the outcome. I must say out of all my projects, this one is the best, even though I know of it's hidden flaws and soon it will be forgotten.

The theme was to take a silhouette from the past and modernize it, so we took inspiration from the '50s and mixed it with metals and scales, to create a modern look. We thought about the contrast between the '50s housewife and the modern woman today heavy in thoughts and work, but still struggling to look glamorous. What say you?

    I think you look the best in uni, darker colours!!
    You look gorgeous in these pictures! Or maybe it's just me, I don't really like too colourful outfits...

    I say it is amazing!!! I love the 50`s feminine silhouette, but all the metal parts from the bodice is really imaginative! love it!

    oh my. this is wonderful! all that metal and still those wonderful shapes and objects on it! very very cool! I really like the rabbit fence that you worked into it! so cool. and still so wearable! wonderful. I am all over the place :D
