Pastoral

 

 There are those days when you need an escape from the city, noise, people and even from the music you usually listen to. Days like that when I feel a bit anxious - maybe I am not ready for my last year at University? - or when all my wishes pile up and can't figure out which one to make it come true first, I try to leave them behind in my special place, quiet, open, a place that gives me peace. Do you have such a special place? 

Well, I also love taking photos there and this time, since chilly days are getting popular, I put on a simple shawl, but one that gives such a nice touch to any outfit. And somehow..I felt in a pastoral landscape, all that was needed where a couple of sheep.

I'm thinking of a holiday

 

 

 

   

Seeing these photos makes me think of a country-side getaway for some reason, speaking of which.. we're almost at the end of July (when did that happen?) and I still haven't done anything significant this Summer (speaking in terms of vacation), so yesterday I started thinking of where to go, what to explore, which scenery to choose, and maybe soon I'll be on my way for a field trip... In any way, I can hardly wait to get out of the city!

Lady in the Lake

Yesterday my cousin and a friend of ours went into the..let's say wilderness and shot these wonderful photos of which I am very fond of. The place was so magical and quiet, that little lake feels frozen in time and I imagine all sorts of creatures down below whenever I see one. I took my summer hat, my recently cropped jeans and the pleated top I am so pleased with and it felt perfect.
Now I am off to spend quality times with friends.

Child of Nature

Yesterday my cousin and I went into the countryside because we both missed it so much and we took some photos in the wild nature. We climbed and there was this lovely view of the little town down below and areas around it, where I have so many great memories.

















We also meet up with our families and had a huge barbecue at my aunt's house -she has the most amazing garden! All in all it was a way to hot, but lovely day. As for today, I will be spending it indoors and maybe in the evening when the air is cooled, I will go out for a cocktail. And these simple days are like honey to me!

I shot these a couple of days ago, while I was doing a little shopping. Unfortunately the battery died so I couldn't play with the shooting the way I wanted. But I love how these came out and I wanted to share them. Tomorrow I'll be going to the countryside with my family and boyfriend for a little...getaway from the city. Hopefully it will not rain.

And I finally found a pair of sandals that I think, match with stockings!
