 I've been featured again in Joy Romania magazine, the November issue, and I couldn't be more excited! This really turned my day around, as I woke up in a really bad shape.

 This month one of my looks is featured in the October issue of Joy magazine! Couldn't be more excited. What a wonderful start of the month, right?

 

This Fall, I wish..

 ..for huge circle skirts and even pencil ones, more statement necklaces, retro coats and capes, that special vintage vibe from the 40's and 50's that is sooo feminine and appealing!
 Here is a small part of my inspiration for my Fall wardrobe (I wish I could have all these beauties) and also some proposals with items I gathered across the Internet at a much more reasonable price - and I already have that turquoise bag, muahah.

Aristocratic Beauty

Now if this isn't perfect, I don't know what is!

Naturally nobody dresses like this nowadays, but it's fun to just play with the idea or gaze upon it, like I am doing now. All those perfect little details create a whole royal ensemble that kills you with so much luxury, because you know that you will never get to own such pieces (unless you rob a bank, receive a inheritance from a lost uncle, have a benefactor like Pip from "Great Expectations" , or starve for two whole years - that is not really an option)

I would just love to be that model for a day, to pose with such creations and feel like a countess from a different era. Somehow seeing all these images, I feel excited and yet I bitter myself knowing that I will never look like that; I think I like to indulge and punish myself at the same time, realizing my place and yet hoping to dream.. Such a complicated being, no?

These photos to me are like Lust, making me commit a sin, it's like they are inviting me into their world of luxury..of opulence.. of glory. Somehow this Baroque trend makes me feel as if I am at home. I would kill to own something so glamorous as these dresses, with all those golden ornaments and fabulous lace and not to forget the statement jewelery! 

Why wasn't I born in that era, as a noblewoman?..

Preview of my work

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a little preview of what I have been working on these days. I managed to finish the photoshotting, but  the photos are not ready yet, so stay tuned for more. All I can say now, is that I am dead tired, I am sunburned from the crazy sun, my eyes are like filled with sand..but at least I have finished sewing. All I have now is to work on my concept and my actual written graduation paper - if that is the proper name -  and this means I will be all weekend living in my laptop. Too bad it can't feel me.
