Meeting Mina

 

Just a simple as that.. Meeting Mina, the Romanian-born blogger who has been living in Canada for quite some time, decided to visit Bucharest for a short period and naturally she gathered a few of us together for a refreshing lemonade. The ex-Faboulista and actual author behind Glitter in my Veins, is a sweet, charming person, with a joyful vivid heart in a small body. I wanted to meet her last Summer, but unfortunately I was out of town and couldn't make it.  I had the privilege to go with her at the V for Vintage fair today, and there we met with other girls and I have to say it was a very pleasant day - I will talk to you about that soon (I also got some goodies from there!) She really is a fun person and I hope I get the chance to see her as often as we both can while she is here.

I wore my favorite dress, did a romantic hairdo and put on some forgotten gladiator sandals (boy, where they trendy or what?) and I was perfect for the meeting.

This heat dilutes all hues

 

I don't know if you recall, but I wanted to show you something pretty and on my birthday I got to chance to wear that special something pretty! I am talking about my new shoes from New Look, initially I wanted them in orange and red hues, but they didn't have that model in store, so I tried these on instead and I simply melt when I saw my feet in those colors! I consider them as a gift for myself. The days are way too hot, I can't believe I am dressing like this in this time of year, but oh well, I will buy more sandals and more dresses for the summer I guess to keep my wardrobe fresh, haha. The next day after my birthday I went to a little place called Sinaia and I visited a way too beautiful castle, I hope the pictures will come out ok and maybe I can post some of them here.

Crazy, Sparkling, Shiny, Saturated Hues

Soooooo, today I am turning 22, a number which doesn't really mean anything since for the last 4 years I still feel like 18. It's also Labor Day here and everybody is celebrating this day in their own way; picnics, trips to the sea/mountains, parties with friends. Today I will celebrate as well, just a casual evening, nothing too fancy. These photos were taken yesterday while I was meeting a very dear friend I haven't seen in a very long time; I always love seeing old friends, it's a shame we don't have enough time to make new memories.
Have I told you how much I adore these pants? Well, I do, I wore them last summer almost everyday. I wish they were longer though. Now I am preparing for my not-too-fancy-dinner and I wish to all you Romanian readers a very Happy 1st of May!
