Off the shoulder tops - a Summer must have!

 

 I wish I could wear this style of tops and dresses all year long, they are so flattering and I feel it can turn your look into a sexy one - the subtle, feminine kind. 

I also wish I could have more time to get back into my usual blogging schedule, but it's not that simple. I also wish I could travel more and experience exciting things. And I wish the heat could cool down a bit, it's exhausting me.

 This post is filled with wishes it seems, I guess we all revise our wishlist every now and then, don't we? 

 In the meantime, my attention is focused on Game of thrones and Broadchurch, who else is hyped about these series? I know they have different themes, but hey are both equally captivating, too bad they are so short though!

A casual romantic Summer

 

 How is the heat treating you so far? 

I am exhausted by it, the only time I feel good is in the evening. I could walk for hours until late in the night in a strappy Summer dress and flat sandals.

 If I must go out at noon, I try to wear the lightest and flarest clothes I own so the fabric won't be sticking up my body and get an almost claustrophobic feeling. This blouse is one example like that, plus it covers my already burned shoulders and it also has a Romantic style, which make my rather simple outfit, more feminine and lively. I am hoping I can go to the swimming pool this weekend, but I see dark clouds up ahead and my level of excitement is going down right now. Just great!

Two Summer Must Haves

 

 I don't know about you, but I am roasting like a chicken whenever I step outside, the weather is crazy hot! Indoors is no better, but at least my skin won't get burned. I really need a SPF 200! 

The good thing about this outfit is that these shorts are made of the lightest, softest cotton and honestly, it feels like you are walking in your underwear and sometimes in the Summer, that is all you wish to do. 

So, a pair of comfy, easy-breezy shorts like this can save you during hot days, and my other recommendation is the on going, off the shoulder tops which are so feminine and so in trend right now. Plus, you'll get a natural tan without marks around the neckline, because don't we all hate ugly tan marks on our skin, am I right?

At Summer's end

 

 I don't know about you, but here the weather has cooled down, alarmingly fast I might add. So here you see me in shorts and a tiny tank top, but ever since this morning, it started to feel chilly and the rainy clouds are throwing their gray light all over the city. I'm just glad I'm not in vacation at the beach during this time. 

I can only continue with my reading and enjoy my comfy bubble, here in my hometown. It's as if time does not affect me here, even though that is not true, but I feel less stressed about money, food, aging and life in general here. Maybe feeling this way is not entirely in the most... realistic way of living.

Into the heat

I'm baaaack, in this scorching heat here in Cluj, one that I "love" so much! 

I was in Bucharest for Laura's wedding this past weekend and I gotta tell you, I had a blast! I was so happy for her and I really am glad I went to her special event, I got to rejoice with my lovely blogger friends and I for one, had a great time.

 It was an outdoor wedding, near a lake and I couldn't be more delighted about that - not too formal, but not too shabby either.

I returned Monday morning home after a never-ending bus ride in this incredible Summer heat that I wish it would go away soon. I'm just not one of those people who enjoy Summer, period.

 This song has been stuck in my mind for a very long time and naturally when I started to make this post, certain lyrics from it came to my mind - it feels like, to me, it has turned into this Summer's hymn. I remember two Summers ago, Lana del Rey's "Summertime sadness" became my ultimate favorite song of that season. And I love to obsess over a song.

 Leaving music aside, you might have noticed on my Facebook page how excited I was to find this little pair of shorts in a thrift shop; the fact is, I have been searching for the right kind of denim shorts with a high waist just to make my legs look infinitely long (I do so love that effect) for quite some time and I was never satisfied. Not to mention the ridiculous prices I had to pay for such little fabric - I mean..to cost as much as a long pair of jeans? - that seems absurd. So I payed less than 1 euro for these and boy, do I feel devilishly happy or what?

Told you I need a getaway from the city didn't I?

Well, I am not in search of a fantastic scenario, I can play video games for that, but I am not that fond of them. Or I could try to daydream until I lose my mind to frustration.

But instead I go to little places of wilderness and think about life during a wonderful sunset.

And planning a vacation. A real one. One that does not include unicorns or mermaids (although that would be fun)..

I am so fond of this cute little top I got from TBDress recently! I mean, I just love the print and the flowy style, just perfect for insanely hot days and of course what else than floral print? That will never change.
