The Mexican Superman

poncho outfit2

Happy Friday everyone!

I can't believe the weekend is finally here, not that I have fantastic plans up ahead, but I can't wait to walk around all day long and take a visit to this month's vintage and antique fair. If the weather will be as sunny and warm as in the last two days, then everything will be perfect! I just love this season when it's warm and I can walk around in the fallen leaves - just look at my satisfied face in picture seven.

I am wearing here a poncho, a thing I have never done before as I always thought that ponchos are for old ladies and they are basically like a blanket. But it's funny how you grow out of certain ideas and you change. I don't know how I came about to buy myself a poncho, I guess I tried one in a store for a chance and I realized that they really do keep you warm. Plus, they are quite versatile; I wore mine in three different ways, I can let it loose, I can wrap it around my body with a belt or I can partially use a belt just to gather the front part of it, like you can see in these pictures.

I guess they are a bit funny in a way, a certain someone said I looked like a Mexican Superman (or rather a Supergirl). I am still debating whether I was complimented or not..
All that is missing in this outfit is a sombrero - I guess I have to go to Mexico to purchase the real deal!

What do you think about ponchos?
