Lady Cat Caffe

I was so excited to share this article with you because it's about something that is really close to my heart: cats!

So this lovely place opened up this month in Cluj called Lady Cat Caffe, a small, cozy place which you can go and spend casual time in the company of...cats! Yes, that's right, the caffe started out after the Crazy Cat Caffe example from Milan and the Lady Dinah's Cat Emprioum in London, so you not only serve tea, coffee or hot chocolate, but it's also an adoption center! You spend time with the lovely cats there which are super friendly and very affectionate, and you can adopt them if you want to, on a specified day scheduled with the owners.

I wanted to love this one, but she didn't want to love me back. Perhaps she sensed my own cat's scent and decided not to like me. But the the grey one was very playful and lively instead, how could you not take this one home?

I can't believe how cold it is these days. The weather is simply miserable, today it's been raining non stop. Yesterday was snowing. Quite confusing I might say. 

I went out trying to be pretty, but little did I know that I lost my skill to endure the cold while taking photos for the blog. So even if you see me smile, it was one of these situations when you say " OMG it's so frikin' cold, but let's pretend we're excited about it!". I am sure you understand. After this short session, we took shelter in a pub and drank hot chocolate with infinite satisfaction. 

 About the outfit.. I guesss I was inspired by my cat that day (which, if you haven't seen her on Facebook, she is pitch black) so I created an almost all black outfit with this cute Sheinside sweater as the main attraction. Isn't it cute or what? 

 Ok guys, I am off to the movies. I hope I can endure the cold outside.

January thoughts

 This is my third day stuck indoors thanks to the massive cold I've been dealing with starting New Year's Eve. I managed to have a good time during the last night of the year, which actually stole my first three days of January. Thank you dear flu, that is just brilliant. I just can't wait to go outside!
 So, at the moment I am savouring a nice warm coffee and a slice of cake (actually I already ate it, plus half of a chocolate croissant) working and at the same time watching the last episode of "Orphan Black" - quite interesting I might add.

 

 Because Winter Wonderland refused to come this year, we are stuck with a dull, late November both landscape and weather, which didn't exactly put me in the Holiday spirit.
Well...at least she was.

 

 And this little creature I encountered while visiting my grandparents for Christmas stole a piece of my heart. Beautiful isn't she?

 

 Even so, while watching TV series like a regular couch potato, gazing constantly at these shoes and considering cutting my hair like this and of course, eating too much candy, I can't seem to let go of Christmas just yet. Nor do I wish to return to University in a few days. Oh, the agony..

Happy Halloween!

 

We never celebrated Halloween in a proper way, but this time my boyfriend surprised me with a very sweet evening. I just returned from the city and I found the whole house covered in candle lights and Halloween sweets and pumpkin shaped nuggets and such; with a splash of spooky, yet funny music courtesy of Halloweenradio.net It's so fun! 

 These are very gooey and they taste like bubblegum!

 

   

And we have a black cat now! Muahahaaaaaa  

We are listening to howls and creepy violins right now and we are considering watching a scary movie later on.

A masculine approach

 

 I got one of those days where I felt uninspired by my closet (full of clothes) and I wanted something to wear with those leggings, so I went snooping around my parents wardrobe which gave me the idea to dress my upper part a little masculine in contrast with the floral print. One of my dad's shirts served that purpose quite well, and I liked the result. 

 Oh and the weather was so gloomy I had to wear a blazer too! That is insane. Today is no better..it feels like a cold autumn.

It's warmer in the freezer..

You probably can't tell, but the weather is simple freezing! Everything is frosted, the pavements are trapped in ice, so naturally it's impossible (at least for me) to walk in heels without concerning breaking my ankles. To do thus, it would take me 2 hours instead of the normal 30 minutes to get back home. And I do miss my heels, boo! Hope the weather changes rapidly in Spring.
As for me..exams are knocking on the door, and I have a few projects to work on, so I am still very busy.











And my cat which hypothetically it's named Zola, but I don't actually call her that way at all.
She is the most adorable naughty being ever!

New in my wonders

This is what I wore today, just before buying my camera new lenses (Nikkor 35 mm f 1.8) which I am super happy about - I have been craving for them for some time now; the minute I got home I started experimenting a bit (see last 3 photos below) but I can't wait to take it to the daylight! I also tasted today a bit of the sales and I am sure tomorrow I shall taste even more!
