A Sunday full of Color

loju6

Yes, I had a great weekend! It started with the event on Saturday I was telling you about - but more on that soon - and the day ended with a very retro fun party where I had a blast!
Sunday was a lazy day, only in the evening we gathered out strength so to say and went to see Iron Man 3 (Tony Stark fan here!) which was an amazing experience! I was a bit disappointed, not with the film, but with the fact that the shoes I wanted to buy for some time now, were sold out.. It would have been a perfect day otherwise.
Soon I am leaving for my hometown for the Spring break, wohooo! And even sooner, my birthday is coming up..oh boy..

Amber and Blues

I borrowed my boyfriend's shirt, I know he doesn't really mind and well, for this outfit it was the perfect choice. A simple outfit with a pop of glitter as the cherry on top, as I like to use. After we took these photos we went to see "Oz, the Great and Powerful" - have you seen it yet? It was pure fantasy, colorful and enjoyable!
Just what you need to getaway for a few hours from the sometimes grey reality. azq7 azq5 azq6 azq4 az3 azq2

On a quest..for a croissant

crs

Let me tell you what I did today.
I woke up not exactly in the morning, but with a urge to eat a chocolate croissant with a delicious cappuccino on the side at my favorite pastry shop in Cluj. By the time I arrived downtown, the famous pastry was closed. Actually, all three of them! So my frustration was blowing inside me, I thought of walking around, I entered some shops, tried on some lipsticks to feel better, then I decided to return home. In the bus station I overlooked another pastry shop so I decided to enter and see if they had a croissant - of any kind! It didn't matter at that point. I found the last remaining plain croissant, I took it home with me, it was warm, I made myself a lame cappuccino and melt some chocolate on it, and ate it while I was editing these photos. Fabulous no?
At least I managed to fulfill my wish.
Next time I will try to wake up early.. my obsession for chocolate croissants is not over yet.

P.S. I am wearing here a very cozy new thrifted cardigan! I am so proud of it. Now I am going to see "Les Miserables"; have you seen it yet?

There comes a day..

After hearing "This is Halloween" from the "Nightmare before Christmas" many times during the night and after watching "Saw" (only the first one, since I hate watching unnecessary sequels) the sinister magic of the night ended and we begun a new month, a month which rapidly turns into a cold ..cold Autumn. It feels strange to think that even in September I wore sleeveless tops and dresses, even so, I am yearning for a white Christmas and negus (the translation of red wine mixed with hot water, spiced with cinnamon and sugar)
We're going later this evening to see "Upside Down", a fantasy of some sort, which I've been waiting to see for some time, I hope I won't be disappointed. After "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter", which again I thought to be epic and "The Amazing Spider Man" with its strange shifting between scenes which made me lost my interest, I began to question the quality of supposedly blockbusters. (Naturally, exception in these cases are "Harry Potter" and "The Avengers")

Well, if it's too hoot outside, wear cold colors, and electric blue is the perfect shade! Not that it helped me much, but seeing it now, makes me think of the Arctic Ocean.
These photos were taken after some friends and I went at the cinema to see Snow White and the Huntsman; I was looking forward seeing it, not because of Kristen Stewart, but because of the twist and the action and naturally, the costumes. I am not a film critic, so I will resume to just this: the scenes in which K-Stew (as people call her) appeared were completely ruined, but the rest was brilliant! If you are a fan of her I am sure you will like the movie altogether.
The bow-tie I received at a recent event I went to, is simply adorable and it highlights the outfit so well, don't you think?

These are my boyfriend's lovely and sometimes too loud parrots - Maia and Fofo. They are so beautifully colored, their feathers are a delight so I decided to wear something inspired by Fofo, or maybe it was chance that I had a top matching with his feathers.

Here are a few photos I took the day I met Iulia and Daria, the lovely bloggers I was telling you about in the previous post.

Also I had the best time watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2, which marked the ending of my childhood and adolescence. I have been a fan ever since the beginning and now that it is over I feel somehow empty for I have no more news, films or books to wait for and all that excitement is vanished. I left the movie theater filled with mixed emotions, not believing it's over. Maybe I am too dramatic, but it is a big deal for me and maybe some of you out there understand what I am talking about. It's a bittersweet feeling.
Have a great weekend darlings!

Casual

Today I saw a good film. It's called "The Legend of 1900", it's about a pianist.  (I love musicians!) Of course the film had it's flaws but if you look at it as a ..legend or just a beautiful story, it all fits and works together perfectly with the character. I loved the ending, and for me a good ending is huge! If you have the time, go see it.

Only a few more days 'till packing and heading of to Bucharest. It will be a problem since there is no one available everyday to take my photos. But I'll manage, just don't expect too much.

I wore this sort of trench after I ignored it for a year because I didn't like it that much, but I had a good feeling today and I decided to take it out. What do you think?
