Proudly wearing boyfriend jeans

boyfriend jeans

Here's a fashionwise thing about me: I've always sensed an attraction to this boyfriend jeans style but I thought they won't look good on my figure, nor that they are in my feminine, romantic style so I thought what is the point buying them if they are not in my style?  But while I was searching for a new pair of jeans - because I do wear jeans from time to time - I immediately grabbed about five pairs of boyfriend style ones and I spent about half an hour deciding if I do like them. I finally settled with these you see me wearing here. I never understood why they necessarily have to be ripped, I mean, come on, do all men wear ripped jeans? I guess they are more interesting this way.
The level of comfort is surreal and I really love how they look on me, and mostly I love how they look with feminine tops, with heels and accessorized with massive, sparkly, state-of-the-art jewelry. The contrast is intriguing and fun to wear!
What do you think about them?

Uncommon Goods

uncommon goods

Have you ever heard of Uncommon Goods Jewelry? If not, let me tell you a little bit about it. A site based in USA that offers hand made jewelry made by various artisans and designers each with a unique style that you really can't find elsewhere.

They don't only sell jewelry, but all sorts of decorative products, like personalized gifts, and we all know, we love to have stuff that are in accord with our personality and lifestyle.
So, if you are one looking for awesome products to offer as gifts to your close ones, this is the place to search: wedding gifts, presents for moms or kids, you can find jewelry, cups, robes, books or toys, you name it!

My choice was this gorgeous hand made necklace made by Emilie Shapiro who loves to create bold and beautiful jewelry by placing gems in wax castings, then melding brass around it for a uniquely organic design.

Also, these gorgeous golden bracelets made by  Tulianna and Alejandra Garces. Beautifully crafted by Colombian artisans, these bracelets are made from antique lace dipped in lustrous 24k gold. The process is entirely done by hand: pieces of lace are cut and sewn, dipped in wax to seal and reinforce them, then in a layer of copper, and finally in 24k gold.

How amazing is that? To take a delicate textile fabric and dip it into gold to create jewelry. I never heard of something as creative as this before, I loved the idea!

Romantic mood

blue flower dress

It appears the castle I visited last week left me in a romantic mood still, not that I complain, Romanticism is in my style, especially when it comes to photography. I feel this dress is appropriate for both casual day wear and also for a lovely date, just add some heels and some sparkly jewelry and you're good. I couldn't miss the sunset and it's golden light, it's just the perfect time to take photos, no matter the season.
It could have been perfect if it wasn't for the screaming kids around and loads of people walking around, but since we live in a big city, finding a secluded place is difficult, so this will do.
However, I hope you love the pictures and let's start the new week with fresh forces!

Vintage Sunday

5475 3

I was so excited when I took these photos in spite of the cold weather outside, you wouldn't even tell it's Spring, but at least we have daffodils! I was excited because I was waiting to receive this adorable sweater for a month now but it was worth it! I mean, I am loving the quality and the tiny pearls sewn on it; it's such a nice detail that creates a romantic, feminine outfit and you know I am into that all the way!
Isn't it lovely how the earrings match the sweater and skirt perfectly? They have pearls (not real ones unfortuantely), they are vintage and they really stand out just the way I like it! I have so many cool stuff for Spring I can't wait to wear and style, my imagination is thriving, if only the temperatures could rise already!

 Have a great Sunday guys! 5475 5 5475 8 5475 6 5475 4 5475 5475 2 5475 7

Sunny Monday

45 0

I do hope you are having a better day than I do, because for me, it's one of those hateful Mondays that make me feel like setting something up on fire and continously trying to cheer myself up with positive thoughts.
I bet you all had this moment, after a very good and relaxing week-end, when you simply don't want to go to your job and just spend a century in your bed.
I dug up these photos that somehow were forgotten in my folders, they were taking a while back, while the weather was still warm and lovely (I still want to wear heels and not boots!) So now, even though it's still sunny outside, it's quite cold and yet pleasant, and I hope I can still be able to enjoy this day before the sun sets.

I wish you all, at least, a great start of the week!

Gold accents

d3 6

Another trend that started to grow on me this year is the golden chain necklaces, preferably wearing them in layers as long as you don't mind them getting tangled around your neck and start to look like a small disaster.
If you told me a couple of years ago that I would start wearing this type of necklace, I would have laughed in your face. I was 100% devoted to colorful, sparkly, statement jewelry that everyone got infatued with eventually. But as the time goes by, so does my taste in certain trends or fashion items go away. I still collect statement necklaces and I still wear them, but just not so much anymore.

So anyway, how do you like this golden chain jewelry? I find them quite easy to wear on so many outfits - maybe not cocktail dresses, but more on the casual side, with simple but girlie peplum tops and some skinny pants or pencil skirt, or maybe with a basic T-shirt, some boyfriend jeans and a pair of stiletto sandals- if you're into that style.
Let me know your thoughts!

And enjoy the rest of the weekend as best as you can!
