Embellished casual outfit

pearl sweater4

Yesterday we had such a warm sunny day, as you can clearly see from these pictures, and now it's all gloomy and depressing. So glad I am spending my time indoors today!
Speaking of yesterday, it was time to wear my pearl sweater - not that those beads are real pearls, but for the sake of feeling glamorous, we will call them pearls, ok? If you read my last article, you know by now that I worked on transforming this plain black sweater into something more sophisticated, it was something I wanted to do for a veeery long time, I only needed patience and time!
It's not that complicated, you just need to be devoted to the "cause", but I can assure you that after long hours, the result is more than satisfying! This way, you can turn any plain old T-shirt, sweater, or dress into a new, more glamorous, piece of clothing.
I wanted to wear it with something casual and by that, I mean jeans! I haven't published photos with me wearing jeans in a ...very long time, so please, let me know what you think about this look!

Have a great week guys!

Vintage Sunday

5475 3

I was so excited when I took these photos in spite of the cold weather outside, you wouldn't even tell it's Spring, but at least we have daffodils! I was excited because I was waiting to receive this adorable sweater for a month now but it was worth it! I mean, I am loving the quality and the tiny pearls sewn on it; it's such a nice detail that creates a romantic, feminine outfit and you know I am into that all the way!
Isn't it lovely how the earrings match the sweater and skirt perfectly? They have pearls (not real ones unfortuantely), they are vintage and they really stand out just the way I like it! I have so many cool stuff for Spring I can't wait to wear and style, my imagination is thriving, if only the temperatures could rise already!

 Have a great Sunday guys! 5475 5 5475 8 5475 6 5475 4 5475 5475 2 5475 7

To be elegant in forests..

sf06

I know, it's completely natural to look elegant or chic when walking in forests (at least I had some pavement!). Theese woods are at the edge of our town and it's not like they are deserted, cars run by often and people walk around there all the time. So this time, as a person who loves contrasts as you know, I though to be a good idea to take some photos in a different location than the city. And I love the eerie feeling I get when I look at the grey background, if there were at least a bit of snow, then it would have been like a fairyland...Or "fairyforest"? That would do too.
One more day until the year will end like a whisper and another one will come, and we grow older (and hopefully wiser) and... I'm not going to go the "depressed pathline" now, so I will stop.
How was your year? Mine was mostly relaxed with some fun moments here and there, with some hard decisions I had to make - but all for the best! There were some fun projects for this blog as well, and oh yes, this year I got a job! Woohoo!
I am not going to tell you how I would like to be in 2014, because most of the time I never stick to that plan, I forget and prefer to do other things than improve myself; but you lovely people, should not do as I do (said the wise owl..)

Silver touches

ree3

I wish sometimes I could find a fantastic place for me to take my photos, instead of parking lots or the usual parks..but in my little town I have to make use of what I have at best. I wish I could have time to make stories based on my looks, but I don't have a photographer around the clock and that makes it harder. Oh , my frustrations..
These days my mood changes from total happiness to deep melancholy and even to bitchy queen. I guess Autumn struck me hard. And the music of Lana Del Rey, which I've been listening to repeatedly, fits perfectly to my state right now.
Enough sentiment - just gaze at my retro-ish inspired outfit composed from my mother's old sweater - it has silver threads, wohoo! - and my self made girlie wool skirt, glazed with some bling blings and maybe you'll feel as fabulous as I did in the hour I took the photos (and a bit bitchy, yeah)
