The Blue Yeti is back!

img2 5

It's been a long time since I wore that coat, perhaps because so far this Winter has been too cold to be able to wear it and keep me warm. But now the weather is much more warmer, but as a result, there is only filth on the streets because the snow melted and that is not a pretty sight. At least I feel cozy and awesome in a fluffy and unusual coat!

I hope you are having a great weekend despite the cloudy weather. I've been catching up with some reading and I watched The Fault in our Stars only now, because I was afraid it wouldn't be as good as the book. But it was. And it was devastating. I won't be watching any other sad drama for a while now.
Tonight is the Golden Globes ceremony and I wish I could see it live, but I found nothing online, no live broadcast, no illegal streaming, haha. Speaking of which, did anyone see The Imitation Game yet? It's due to release in cinemas here only on 30th January and I hear it's a great film (hooray for Cumberbatch!)  and I am sooooo curious!

Play a little from time to time

657 6

Sometimes I get enough of pencil skirts, cool shirts and classic heels and I want to play a bit with my outfits. I don't know about you but wearing light circle dresses with socks and boots makes me feel like a teenager. Sometimes I like to be that way.
And since Autumn came it was about time to start wearing layers , so sweaters over dresses are a must!
What your favorite outfit for Fall?

Flowers in december

snw3

Proudly wearing my new favorite necklace - couldn't be more colorful and sparkly, I know - paired with my fluffy angora sweater and beret, just a perfect start for this month! All that was missing was snow, although I am not really looking forward to it just yet..
Everything fit together when we made these photos, it was quite late and cold and I was almost certain that it was already too late for a photo shooting, but when we saw this beautiful sunset light, it took no more second thoughts and about ten minutes and made the impossible happen! Too bad the sun went so fast and it was already so cold, we would've love to play a little more.
Okay.. now I need to find my courage and get to work..Listening to Nouvelle Vague and drinking mint tea seems the best option for me right now.

Before the storm

Untitled-a1

I was dying to have a cute basic sweater - especially made of angora wool - ever since I saw Carrie wearing this outfit in season six of "Sex and the City" (these are stills from the episode, and yes, I tormented myself searching for this almost EVERY episode because I didn't succeed in finding a proper photo with this look).

And, one day I managed to find a similar sweater in a thrift shop and boy, was I excited or what? And it keeps me so warm and it is so fluffy and adorable! Naturally, I had to pair it with a basic white shirt and add a necklace because...well..that is what I do and I was happy for the day. Until the storm came, destroyed my hairdo and chased me back home. Oh well..
