Can you believe it's already June? I sure can't!
Summer is here and I am dreaming of a looong vacation, countless ice creams and cocktails in the evenings.
Until then, a relaxing walk here and there and some photos in the middle, all squeezed in between two jobs - got to pay for that vacation somehow right?

The lace skirt
I really wanted a lace skirt for a very long time, it is the perfect item to wear at dinner parties, formal events and also on casual dinner dates too. So you can pair it with chiffon shirts, silk blouses, cashmere sweaters, all things fancy. I really dislike it when such a beautiful fabric is worn with sporty tops or shoes, just so people can make a fashion statement of some sorts, but it just looks wrong in my opinion. What's precious needs to remain precious.
A black skirt with a bright red coat and a lipstick in the same bright red color, it's just enough to shine and stand out elegantly at any event.
What do you think?

The elegance, refinement and luxury of Art Nouveau
Every once in a while a girl dreams of being a princess in her own castle, isn't that right?
I had the opportunity to be in that posture not to long ago at Peles Castle, which is now a National Museum. In my opinion it has to be the most beautiful castle in our country and to be able to take part of this special project meant the world to me.
I was asked to be a part of a photoshooting which promotes a very elegant exhibition starting from September; this exhibition consists of beautiful items from the Art Nouveau period (which I personally love the most) and also celebrates 110 years since the inauguration of Pelisor castle, residence of King Carol's heirs.
I am thrilled of these photos and naturally, I was amazed by all those rooms, the exquisite items and, of course, the luxury!

I will always go back and think about the privilege I had and forever be grateful to the people there and to myself for starting this blog. Because without it none of this wouldn't have happened.

Summer Twilights
I am back from my little but exciting trip, I honestly feel that a week has passed and I am once again in my hometown waiting for the next big thing to appear. Until then, here are some photos I took before my departure while a friend of mine was visiting.
I can't wait to show you photos from my recent collaboration, so stay tuned!

Glamorous at noon
Does this outfit seem to glamorous for lunch? To me it doesn't. Why ask the question of I am certain of myself? I am just wondering about your what other people might think for a change, given the fact that I never consider other's opinion, since most people are so...let's just say conservative.
Let me tell you why I don't think this outfit is necessarily suited for evening parties only. Sure, that top is nude, may look mysterious and such and has lace, but it is also cropped and it doesn't always go for certain events. The shoes, no, definitely not suited for cocktails; a stiletto platform in exchange, yes. The skirt, it may look elegant, probably due to its color, but it's not sexy enough for a special occasion, at least not for me. I would've chosen another hairstyle too and a different purse.
Still, I like to feel elegant from time to time in a simple way that doesn't always include colors or bold prints. Basic pieces and the right accessories, a perfect versatile outfit!

Red riding hood in the city
I just love this girlie outfit, makes me feel like I'm sixteen due to that short dress - yes, it's a dress underneath the shirt - because you know I don't usually feel comfortable wearing mini skirts or dresses, even though they are pretty. But this was a fun experiment to do, layering that is, and I am pleased with the result.
Sometimes we just got to take out that inner child in us and just play, because how else can we live in this chaotic times? Days, weeks...years are moving way to fast and I am still wondering when people stopped taking a breath to properly appreciate things.
