Is it officially Spring?

1st of march 4

We didn't gradually shift from boots to dress shoes, oh no, it was quite sudden, the weather took an interesting turn, not that I am complaining, but maybe I should be concerned that our planet is...dying? It's definitely not normal to walk around at four in the afternoon in 16 degrees without a hint of chill on your back, at least not for us. But hey, at least the snow is gone and I already have my Spring outfits prepared and ready to go!
Speaking of which, I took out this wonderful shirt I got during the sales season, I couldn't wait for warmer days to be able to wear it! The classic floral print - always in style for Spring, right?

Since it is March already, I am going to wish you all a lovely, charming Spring - I always feel in love during this season, with pretty much everything! How about you?

Romantic Sunday afternoon

romantic look8

It's sooo good to just sit back and relax after more than a stressful week of finding a new home; I simply hate moving around, I mean, the packing and organizing all the luggage -  and I do have a dozens of boxes and bags, I just couldn't believe how so many small stuff can occupy lots of big boxes. It felt never ending.
Alas, after almost ten long days, I finally found a decent home for me and my cat (there are so many people who dislike animals, for crying out loud it's a cat, not a dinosaur!) and I caaan't wait to receive the keys and organize my stuff in my new little space.

So that is my main reason for disappearing from the blogosphere and social media world, but now I am back with this gorgeous set of photos I took recently, showing off this silky dress which has become one of my favorites, mainly because of the light fabric which is just amazing and just look at that gorgeous print - not too flashy, but much more delicate and feminine. The detail that struck me was the little collar bow that really makes the dress a whole lot more interesting.
Stylewe strucks me as a website that sells much more refined products, especially dresses, there's an abundance of them, you just need the patience to browse them all to pick a favorite (or ten favorites).

Happy Sunday guys!

Romantic retro look with Zaful

zaful rose dress

I hope you are having a great weekend so far! I started out editing these photos and it only took a few hours and one bad Internet connection later to post this article, in a way it took forever. But I am hoping you love the result!
I got this beautiful organza dress form Zaful recently, I just thought it was perfect for my style and perfectly wearable during the daytime, it also has a retro feeling to it which I love. I wanted to make photos in a special place and this lovely medieval looking building was perfect for my background. It's one of my hometown's museums and the lady there was nice enough to let us use the garden for my photos.

Chiffon and leather

chiffon and leather3

Long time no see! I've been busy travelling back to my hometown, visiting my relatives and dealing with the strange weather that made me feel so uninspired and quite lazy.
Hopefully I will be back with new ideas, for now I am showing you the outfit I wore yesterday in the evening while walking around the empty streets. There was a time when mixing leather and light fabrics, such as chiffon or silk, was a "wow!" or a big "no-no" depending on each individual.
For me, it was a big "yes!" and I wear this combo even now. I just love the contrast and you know, it's one of those contrasts that feels good and looks even better!
 What do you think?

Casual Summer

suede skirt4

Back from the Dream land and here we are with another typical casual Summer outfit, just a simple silky top, but with a gorgeous floral print paired with this skirt I have been wearing in a lot of my outfit posts; I am quite saturated with it, but the fact is that it goes perfectly with so many of my stuff, it's just hard to ignore it. I wish I had one in every color, just to diverse things a bit.
Well now, I hope you are having a beautiful Sunday, the weather is the opposite of Summer right now, but I am hoping for the best - wow, me, an optimist, that's rare!

Oh and stay tuned, I am preparing another cupcake post very soon!

Two small treasures: a skirt and a vintage bracelet

silk green skirt4

I'm such a romantic, aren't I? I couldn't help but to embrace my feminine style and create another classic/chic/romantic outfit.
This silky maxi skirt is one of my favorite items I own and how else could I pair it than with a off the shoulder blouse and golden jewelry! I scored this gorgeous colorful vintage bracelet from a vintage fair back in Bucharest, I fell in love with it at first sight, and even though spent a small fortune on it, I don't regret it, it is definitely an item to treasure!
What do you think of this look?

Accessorize!

one2

Today I went ahead and indulged in accessories, you know they can make an outfit stand out or even transform it into something amazing. I stared with a belt, then I added the beautiful silk scarf, and a hat, while we're there why not decorate it with a cameo brooch? You get my point, I got really excited and I left it like that and I realized I missed the days where I used to exaggerate with jewelry or scarves and necklaces!
Now I am so excited I am Spring and Summer to decorate myself with new shiny accessories!
What about you?

 Have a great weekend guys!
