On the edge

 

 This post seems so laid back and simple (but not necessarilly common!) just the way I felt the day we shot these pictures, on a lovely Sunday afternoon. I am not at the countryside (although I wish), I was just at the edge of my little hometown where you can easily access, sit on the grass and look at it in peace. Sometimes you hear an ambulance or a motorcycle in the distance, but that is just a way to remind you that you are not far away from bricks and concrete (sigh)

 And what else to wear on a field than a relaxed outfit and no heel sandals?! This little jumpsuit belonged to my mother and I remember the days she wore it each Summer at the seaside when I was little. Now I guess it's my turn to do that, even though I am not planning a trip to the seaside anytime soon - the swimming pool will do just fine for now.

Pijama shirts - or not?

 I received this blouse not long ago from Sheinside and this is not the first time I am wearing it, but it is the first time it appears on this blog. When I had to choose from a lot of other blouses I was reluctant at first because I am not one to have a passion for teeny-tiny prints such as these. Dots, flowers, hearts, stripes, whatever, not a fan, they made me think of pijamas. Instead if you show me huge beautiful prints (preferably in crazy colors) on..anything, then you win me forever. The fact is, I don't know exactly what made me choose this blouse, perhaps the color, this minty green I will always adore, and the bow on the neckline, so feminine and elegant, I have a thing for those. I am happy with it, this is one of those exceptions I gladly accept, ha! And I am quite stubborn.
Worn with neutral or pastel pieces and it fits perfectly. Red will do too, but not very bright ok?
And I got to wear my new shoes I adore so much! It was one of those wonderful days when you find something beautiful (like...from ASOS) in an outlet store at a price so ridiculously low that just simply screamed: "BUY US! YOUR FEET WILL NEVER BE HAPPY AGAIN IF YOU DON'T TAKE US HOME!" 
So yes, I suppose that would've been true.

In colder pastels

 

 It's really weird for me to dress up like this in December! For the past few days it feels more like a rainy warm Spring. In a way I prefer this to the snow and unbearable cold, but Christmas is approaching, and I am almost done decorating, but that cozy, specific Christmas spirit is missing.. Now I realise I could never live in Florida, South America or L.A. in this period of time!

 Even so, I choose to wear cold pastels, and you know, I created the outfit based on that bag (which resembles the Celine Phantom bag a bit) and I just love that moment when I see how everything just fits together!

Playing the tourist

 

 Yesterday was a day of relaxation for me, we went out, we had a great dinner and the most fabulous American brownie at Marty's, then we stayed in the park, maybe I'll take some photos there too very soon; and I couldn't resist taking some more tourist-y photos, even though I have so many with this city. But I want to discover hidden places, such as that terrace bellow, it is a a lady-like place were they play amazing jazzy music and it's so quiet and peaceful! It's called Doamna T. ( as in Lady T.) plus there are so many cute stores! 

I noticed this weekend a little vintage fair takes place around here, so of course I will take a look around there, so excited!

 Excuse my absence, but as I have told you these days I don't really have the time to go out and take outfit shots, plus it's an unbearable heat that makes me sit inside my home anyway.. 

These photos were taking yesterday before attending a concert (I changed in something more comfortable, don't worry) We had a blast there, I screamed until my voice was gone and I was filled with dust but you can't compare the atmosphere of a rock concert to anything else, so.. fun!

That perfect minty top

 

 

 

 

 How much I adored the Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 collection, I think I have devoured every piece and every editorial which contained these clothes. The details are stunning! So imagine my excitement when I discovered this top at H&M screaming at me " I'M YOURS!!" There was also this cute dress in the same collection but it didn't fit me well, so I opted for this top instead but nonetheless, I am happy with it! The embroidery resembles so much and the color..minty, my favorite this season, makes it a match made in Heaven!
 In other words, I am back in my hometown - oh there is a lot to tell about my journey, about how I almost broke my arms carrying four huge bags (including my cat), how "exciting" was our almost-suffocating-train-ride, and how we arrived 40 minutes late! But now, I am pleased the temperature is not as crazy hot as it is in Bucharest, and I can't wait now to take a visit in all the old (and new) thrift stores around here!

I went today in H&M and I sinned... I wanted to relax myself a bit from all the work and what better way to do that than to visit fashion stores? I went there and I finally found that minty/yellow pleated top which I have been craving for quite some time and it seems it was my lucky day , between sizes 34 and 42 I found the last 38, my size! I was so, so pleased. Then, I found other stuff (I tried on about 12 items) but left with these three. The necklace is like made of candy and it suits perfectly that top and it's from Meli Melo.

I also went in Zara, died in all the amount of lace, embroideries, floral prints and sandals, and went home sighing. Oh...

Allright..back to work now!
