When Autumn made its glorious appearance..

rao8

I was so caught up in my daily tasks, shifting between my new job, this blog and school that my wonder was so great when I realized Autumn is in its bloom. I don't know about you, but I think everything looks better in Autumn! The air, the colors, the golden light, the scent of dead leaves, they put everything in such a melancholic and beautiful place.
I don't know how often I can update my blog due to my hectic schedule (and my photographer's) but I'll try to stay dedicated to it.
Stay tuned guys!

Melancholia

There are certain days when all you need to do is just relax and allow yourself to be lazy, watch Tv shows, gaze the warm sunsets and smell the fresh autumn air while drinking a hot chocolate. That is how I feel today. Oh..I just love this season!
First outfit post during my first days back in Cluj, weearing these lovely pants I received not long ago, I just love the color and the fabric, soft and well, they are more fitted for Summer days but I couldn't wait until next year so I figured they could be styled for Autumn looks as well.

 Happy Sunday guys!

Nostalgic Sunsets

loi3

I feel idyllic these days, or maybe this whole month; I think every August strikes me with a weird romantic/melancholic mood, perhaps because I know it is the end of Summer. So I enjoy taking photos in sunsets, in almost abandoned fields ( I remember how much I used to play as a child in this place) and just fill myself up with that Summertime sadness.
I really love this set of photos, my mother did a great job (after so many stressful sessions with me, I am sure she got better) and she also told me that I look like from a different era with that headband, that I do not resemble like her child, haha, while smiling with a hint of pride and some bitterness. An interesting compliment wouldn't you say?

I've stepped into the dark side

yyy8

Oh yes, my bright red hair has cooled down and turned into a burgundy shade (or wild cherry if you want). It was about time I changed it, even though I wanted a lighter shade for about three months.. more like a rusty color, the temperatures outside made me chose this hue instead, and you know what? I am super happy with it! It was quite a shock to see my hair this dark, and I will probably miss my crazy red in time, but after three years you have this bitter-sweet feeling of change. In the sunlight it's still red, but in a certain light it looks purple! Crazy.
We took these photos up on a rooftop, near a restaurant called Havana, it has this amazing view over the whole city from every angle, it's just beautiful! I said "I have to take some photos here!"
It's finally Friday, yohooo! Make the best of it  lovelies.

We started a fire..

September has arrived and I couldn't be more excited! I am not the one to miss Summer, mainly because I don't have that many fabulous memories, significant trips or exotic places to cry about with nostalgia.. But that is just me, I feel autumn has much more exciting beginnings to present me and I can't wait to see what's next!
This was another one of those spontaneous outfits, I just put on a dress and then a skirt and throw my dad's tie instead of my overused belts and just walked out the door. After we took these photos and returned to were we came from, we saw big black smoke coming towards us in huge clouds and yes ladies and gentlemen, it was my first time witnessing a fire. A bar burnt down - fortunately not to ashes, but I couldn't not be amused by the amount of people gathered around there who just stared in excitement as if they were at a concert.
I guess this is one of the rare moments in our little town that makes a fuss for a month.
