Pants or skirt?

 

 As I am sitting here, writing this post I am also eating a big portion of pancakes with chocolate and strawberries, at the same time I am working on my graduation paper and for my job. So I am pretty much multitasking today and for the rest of the month and the one after that! I am slightly panicking of course, because that is what I do when I am near a deadline, so this means that I will barely have time for blogging once again, but I trust you can understand that.

 In the meantime, it seems that Summer is eager to torture our skin and state of mind, as it is very very hot outside, perfect for light dresses and sandals. But I chose to wear my hybrid pants so to say, because they do resemble a skirt sometimes and it feels soooo good in them! The black shirt though...wasn't a great choice; it felt like a hot radiator.

Enough rambling, got to get back to work.

New items in my wonders!

Remember how last weekend I went shopping? Well, here are the goodies I bought (also include the sweatshirt from the previous post) and which I can't wait to wear. I wanted to brag about it, because that is what I usually do, online and offline. Yes, I am a proud being. Anyway, now I am almost broke and still, I continue to make new shopping lists - this will not end, I tell you!

Is it coming back around?..

 

 You know that I have moments when I wish to throw away all my pairs of pants, but then there are some days when I see a nice pair of jeans and think "I just need them in my life!". I thought the same with these I am wearing here, simple, basic, a nice shade of blue - and the fact is that I needed another pair in my wardrobe just for those moments when I am too lazy to dress up fancy. Because, well, we can't always be feminine and aristocratic.

 In my case, I threw on a basic nude shirt, my adorable ankle boots perfect for this weather and a statement scarf to stand out and voila! Simple and clean.

Silk.Softness.Sensational!

 

 I have to brag again with this silk skirt, I love it to pieces and it truly feels like wearing a piece of cloud. Did I mention it's vintage? Alright, alright.. Well, I am wearing it here with my New Look sandals which also are very comfortable and I think the two pieces are a match made in Heaven - chromatically speaking especially. How did I felt wearing feminine unique items in amazing textures (which are so rare to find these days)? Simply great! I was upset to take it off to be honest..

Time for a change

 

 So, I cut my hair! Yes, I wanted a change for some time now and to be honest, I was a bit anxious whether this haircut would suit me or not. After I saw myself I realized how thick my hair is and I never imagined I would have such volume! Anyway, looking in the mirror constantly smiling like a Cheshire cat, I realized how much I resemble with Megan Draper from "Mad Men". In a subconscious way I made my decision based on her look. Now I feel much more retro and cool.

New Look second outfit

Okay, here is my second outfit from New Look, a bit more glamorous and sexy! 

I opted for this wonderful jumpsuit which I find to be perfect for a night out or a formal party among friends, or a New Year's celebration..the list can go on. I also chose that feminine blazer with a very soft silky fabric for the chilly evenings and my pair of vintage shoes - are they perfect for this outfit or what?
