Bohemian weekend

 

Currently I am sitting in a Starbucks, sipping on a Guatemala-Something Cappuccino and taking advantage of their free WiFi in order for me to post this article and say my "Hellos" on social media. 

Moving your home is hard business, so until Monday or Tuesday, I am out of Internet connection; hopefully this will be resolved soon; traveling around from one coffee shop to another with a heavy laptop is not an easy task.

 Anyway, onto the outfit - while we are still enjoying a very prolonged Summer here in Romania, I took advantage of one of the remaining sales that was still on-going (Hello 70% OFF!) and took this wonderful hippie, boho-chic, whatever you want to call it, cardigan and I am so glad I managed to create this look before the cold temperatures start to kick in. 

By all means, this style is nothing new, but this is not exactly my day to day style, so playing around with new styles, whenever I get the chance is very new to me. And it feels fun!

Floral cardigan

Goodness, the weather was so cold this weekend! Don't mind the Sun, he was there as a decor object, but the temperatures were ridiculously low.

Since my coats are cuddled back in my closet, I take out my warmest cardigans, this one from Sheinside is one of them. I wore it last year like crazy and I can't get enough of it, one of those clothing items you never get bored of, you know?

Also, perhaps you noticed that my hair is longer, that is all thanks to the Irresistible Me hair extensions I received about a year ago. I haven't worn them much mainly because my hair color changed from that bright red in time, and also because my hair is pretty thick as it is and well, we all know that hair extensions work best for thinner hair, however, if I curl them, they are just perfect. Or if I wear them in braids or ponytails. I wanted to play a little for once and I really did feel pretty and different that day in a small, subtle way!

Alright, let's get through this Monday with a positive mood.

Dream a little dream

 

 As soon as I noticed that blooming tree and the lovely roses right in the heart of the city, I wanted to take another set of dreamy photos, I am a sucker for flowers, that's just it.  And how could anyone refrain themselves from creating beautiful images this month while the roses are in full bloom?

A frosty new year

 

 Happy New Year everyone!! 

I hope you had a wonderful time during the New Year's Eve and I hope that all of your wishes will come true this year! 

I started 2015 with a massive lazyness; I probably did not get enough rest the night before, so I spent my day pretty much doing nothing, just sitting around cozy and comfy inside my warm house (it's so cold outside these days!) But I gathered my courage and went out the other day, taking some photos in the snow, sporting my new Sheinside sweater - it's soooo fluffy and warm, you wouldn't believe it - and my vintage-like curls. I was so excited after I mastered this curling technique, I wish my hair could stay like that forever! 

Now, by the time you read this, I will be on my my way for a little weekend trip and you'll find out where I've been soon enough. Photos will come too!

In between holidays

 

 Christmas came and went as fast as a thought and left us with our bellies full and our mind at peace, I hope. For me, Christmas is my favorite part of the year and I really am sorry I did not got to see any snow, the lack of it makes my holiday spirit less magical. But presents were given, friends and families were around and the joy was still there. I hope you all had a wonderful time this Christmas and let us hope for the best in 2015 ! A few more days and the year ends, I really can't believe it..

This is what I wore on the second day of Christmas while I was visiting my relatives somewhere near the mountains. It seems I am still struck with a grey/red/black color mix; what can you do? You use a certain obsession until you exhaust it and move on to the next one when the time comes, isn't that right?

Camel and navy blue

 

 Looks like I'm still infatuated with this color mix and how can you blame me? Blue goes with my hair color and blue also goes very well with nude/cream/beige/camel/orange and so on. Needless to say that I have been wearing that cape for the last week, it's like I've rediscovered it in my wardrobe after someone from Narnia snitched it from my closet. (Those who know the Narnia books, know what I mean).

  There are 10 more days left unbtil Christmas and I couldn't be more excited. But I'm even more excited when I think about the release of "The Hobbit 3" in a few days, wohooo! I've been watching all sorts of films and shows recently, including the dreamy Victoria's Secret Fashion Show - it's a must, every year. 

Now I'm off to the famous antiques fair we have here every month, hopefully I will find some treasures (and Christmas presents)
